This past week, work had HARDLY scheduled me. Im guessing they are trying to train new employees for the upcoming Black Friday craziness. Eesh! scary day (we open at 4am!). In the event of having lots of free time to myself all this week, i did 'self things' which mainly means working on my graphic design portfolio :) I did do other things, like painted my nails, went shopping, went for a walk- the weather has been gorgeous out, but mainly, a lot of nothing (which is nice too). So today I went cowboy boot shopping! Im obsessed with cowboy boots now-ones with lots of detail (opposite of my mother who loves plain and boring). I must have a pointed toe- well because fashion is fashion and of course I need a boot that mostly resembles a stiletto. lol. Ive always looked to Jessica for style tips and ideas and these boots are adorable:

(Miley has been known to rock the cowboy boots pretty often. She has a cute style too.) Today I finally unpacked my backpack from my Minnesota vacation because I needed to start working out again. (I always pack my workout gear in my backpack and then head to the gym.) Found a vanilla cupcake candle I had bought for my friend for her birthday when I was in town and forgot to give it to her. (happy birthday catherine! <3) So i decided to light it today for a little bit of warm yumminess ;)

To add to my sweet tooth, today I also made rice krispie treats! Usually those last about 2-3 days in our family because they are SO delicious and everyone attacks them like there is no more food left in the world. We'll see how long they ACTUALLY last! I miss being all creative with my baked goods- so they were just plain krispies. If I had the means, they would be holiday decorated, maybe cut out into turkey shapes in favor of thanksgiving coming up.... lol. ANYTHING CUTE! Oh and speaking of cute, my mom had found this recipe.
Acorn Treats Recipe how freakin cute?!??!?!?! Perfect fall snacky! Aand, I dont mean to brag but I had the best din ev. Three Words: Asian Lettuce Wraps. YUM-O. ground turkey with sauteed onions and garlic in a ginger dressing, topped with shredded cabbage and carrots, a touch of soy sauce, and chopped cashews. It was literally Chinatown in my mouth. And although I was a bit cliche and ate next to my lucky chinese bamboo plant, I was drinking wine from Chile. Lol. I have also been playing around with lomo effects in photoshop...

(Heres a link to
